Hi :)
I just wanted to share to anyone who comes across my brand via my etsy store and is confused by the prices I just wanted to explain a bit better here.
My etsy store is where I have been selling on over the past few years, I have been shipping everywhere mainly to the US and Canada. I originally opened my store in the UK but once I moved I re-opened my web store in Euro's but on my etsy store I sell in £. So the first price discrepancy starts here when you compare my webstore to my etsy store.
Etsy also charges listing fee, transaction fee, processing fee, regulatory operating fee and VAT on seller fee so as you can see there are a lot of fees per item on etsy so for this I mark my products a little bit more even if it's in £.
Now looking back at my etsy store from different locations I can see as a customers view point that etsy also at extra costs to the items depending on your location making my products even more expensive to customers at first glance. This is very sad as I make most of my income on my etsy store and it seems the past year my store has been very quiet, I can only assume that the prices are too high sadly the extra cost etsy adds I have no control over nor can I see the costs from the seller section.
So with this post I what I wanted to say is if you have come to my store via my etsy store please feel free to shop on my webstore I do everything exactly the same this just eliminates excess fees for me and the customer. If you have any issues please get in touch <3
